Shraddha on Grazia: (Un)Covered

Wearing Gucci again, Shraddha features on another fashion magazine, this time on Grazia’s Nov edition.

Grazia covers normally pack quite a punch with its choice of colors and styling. These two (especially the blue one) though felt rather lackluster. Just me?

In Zara

Wearing a Zara lace dress with silver sandals (also from Zara), Kriti attended a recent event. Jewelry from Aquamarine added finishing touches to the look. She had us at the (dress’) color; Kriti looked good.

In Gucci

Priyanka attended Gucci and Equality Now’s ‘Make Equality Reality’ event in Los Angeles wearing Gucci ofcourse. As flawless as the make-up was here, those pants with that blazer looked quite off. A high-waisted, bootcut version might have made for a smarter look.

What do you think?

Screening Style

Wearing a graphic tee, black denims and tan oxfords, Aditi took in a movie yesterday. With her hair in a ponytail, a pop of red lip and red MICHAEL Michael Kors satchel finished out her look. She looked good!

Retail Therapy

You’ve heard this before, Normcore. You’ve certainly seen the trend being embraced across the board with both documented street style looks and appearance of old school, fuss-free designs, sportswear inspired clothes, sneakers, slides and birkenstocks on runways. Heck, if Moschino referenced Fast Food pop culture, Chanel took us to the supermarket and Celine gave us the furry Birkenstock’esque sandal. There’s no escaping Normcore!

So essentially, while Normcore involves a departure from high fashion and working around normal people clothes, clothes that blend in with those around you like slouchy jeans, basic tees and sneakers, don’t for a second confuse the trend with sloppiness or frumpiness. It might be middle-America aesthetic but one that is put together with great though. Non-descript pieces that come together in the end to be something both distinctive and flattering.

Intrigued? Here’s our quick cheat-sheet to Normcore. Three basic, but hardly basic looks to get you started on the trend.
