YAWN! Does not matter if she appears once in a month or once a week or after a year. It is the same boring look including that arm crook.

Wish we could see her footwear, would have given us even more opportunity to rip into her…

This is beyond weird. But strangely compelling to watch.

It’s okay, you know? for someone who, by her own admission, is not into fashion, finding a look that works and can be repeated is fine. for her movies, she dresses to character; on her own time, she has a uniform.

I’ve told myself that I will treat myself to an all-butter shortbread from M&S if I spot a comment about Vidya’s ‘arm crook’. Please do not disappoint me.

Aside, I think she’s deliberately holding her arm in a crook to wind you people up. Oooo, wouldn’t that be evil, subversive and totally cool?

LOL. I guess you can get your all butter shortbread now.

    Thanks!! Was missing the arm-crook!

I don’t understand what the problem with the arm-crook is. That IS how to hold the pallu of the saree. That’s how my mum does it, and her mum. The alternative is pinning up pleats on your shoulder – a big no-no. Would you rather it drop on the floor by her side?

      1. Asha at | | Reply

The problem is that her arm crook is waaaay too high. It’s practically around her shoulders now!

read: sari with a 3/4th blouse and a chunky necklace and an arm crook and messy hair.
Vidya in one gorgeous woman and has an enviable collection of saris but a bit of effort in the hair and shoe department is what she needs.
    Love the sari.

How cud that gorgeous sari b paired with white-black checkered 3 quarter blouse?!

    1. Afraa Effan at | | Reply

Thank you! That’s such a bad combo. Sari is too dressy and blouse is too casual.

    2. Melange at | | Reply

Agree. It is such a beautiful saree. Just imagine how much better it would look with a sexy sleeveless blouse, a messy bun and heels!
      Gaaahhh

That blouse is just so dowdy. Hate it and it ruins the look.
