Anavila’s show had plenty of celebs in attendance wearing her saris. I had a few favorites (Gauri and Mounica) and some who I thought had a few missteps like Sona. I like all the elements of her outfit but didn’t like the way she draped her sari.

On the Mumbai Film Festival red carpet, Gauri was photographed in Payal Khandwala. A multi-colored cross-body bag, metallic flats and a medallion necklace, also from Payal Khandwala rounded out the filmmaker’s look.
Easy and effective; Gauri wore her look well.

At the directors only screening of Rangoon on Tuesday evening, Gauri was seen doing casual wearing a floral Péro top with cropped denims. Swap the big bag for a crossbody and the sneakers for flats, and that would totally be me!
