Launching a Cannes inspired collection for L’Oréal Paris’ was brand ambassador Sonam in Mumbai. For her appearance, she opted for an Armani Privé with peacock earrings by mom Sunita Kapoor’s Signature line.
Mixing up Indian jewellery with western looks is something we’ve seen Sonam do a lot. But, in this case, I find the look disconnected. The hair and earrings feel like they belong on a sari rather than with this dress. Just me?

Padma’s gown instantly gave us flashbacks of her Cavalli one. Don’t blame us for giving this one an Almost. It’s just that while she fares better than the last time, we long for some rich, saturated colors on her. Enough of the gold tones.
Padma finished her look with Jimmy Choo sandals and jewellery from her own collection.

It was Armani Privé for Ms. Rai Bachchan on day two of Cannes Film Festival and we’ve got to say we like. The dress sure came as a surprise, it being a lot more stronger with it’s sharp lines when compared to the more softer numbers she seems to usually favor… Not that we are complaining.
This time around the make-up was perfect and loved the addition of the cuff to the look.

Aishwarya took to the red carpet looking fabulous in an Armani Privé strapless dress. The brown is such a change! (By the way… The shimmery gown looked far better on the red carpet than how it translated in the photographs.)

My-oh-my. This is just what we needed after yesterday. Ash was a stunner in her black glittery Armani Privé gown (via RCFA). Love the hair, the minimal jewellery and the red lips.
My only gripe are those gunmetal satin shoes and I would have prefered something black to continue the look but considering it’s mostly hidden, am gonna ignore them and just look at everything above it. :P
