Skirt Style

Comment image 10

At the anniversary party of a local eatery, Sridevi was seen wearing a white silk shirt with what a Dilnaz Karbhary skirt. Sticking to a white palette, her look was finished out with a white Gucci clutch and Gianvito Rossi pumps.

While she looked nice, I really wish the skirt base was also white. The particular color had a lining material feel to it which didn’t make it feel as luxurious.

  1. Totally agree with Payal on the colour of the skirt, however, I think this is a great age appropriate outfit for Seidevimand she looks elegant in it.

  2. i cant understand for the life of me why MM would want the skirt to look like its worn inside out. the white fringe/embroidery looks so stark on that colour.

  3. Totally agree with Payal, what was Manish Malhotra thinking, looks like a petticoat with embroidery. Zooming in the embroidery doesn’t look classy at all. But it’s Sri devi so she can pull anything off.

  4. I could take my mother’s embroidered saree like that, dart it and turn it into a pencil skirt, but then, it would look like I made a skirt of an Indian embroidered piece even if you attach fringe trims at the bottom. It’s a no brainer, but that’s not called design.
