From Issue Launch To Runway

We still think the purrple version was the best! What about you?

I love the color purple Priyanka is wearing. Black on the model is more for ‘night on the town’ than to a formal event. I love the jeweled strap on the white gown but there is something about the white gown that I don’t like, cannot figure it out, lol.
I like the white one WAY better. The shiny part on the boobs just does not work on Priyanka’s. I also like the embellished straps more.
I like the white one better, the lines somehow dont look good in purple.
Agree that purple is the best bet here but I do not like this dress much .

why do designers even bother to show. During a fashion week..one usually assume they will show a new collection. Many seem to be showing year old garments and prints.
I think the black, short dres best lives up to the edy seaming on the dress
the purple is …awkward, and the white sort of clashes with the feel of it
love the black one. im sure it would be great in the purple too. but it wud be a great going out dress with some killer gladiator heels.

i so agree with Ashi .. the shiny parts look weird. I like the white the best!
agree with Ashi. The white versionwould have looked better on Priyanksr than the purple because it accentuates the waist giving an illusion of fuller hips which Priyanka lacks.
Uh, why dont the models have eyebrows?
i love the white one.. its much more better.. the purple is just plain vulgar
The work around the waist of the purple dress reminds me of some Narciso Rodriguez gowns from a couple years ago. The white one looks like a wedding dress.
I don’t like shiny material on the boobs. Its way too shiny in the purple – not that accented on the white and the black ones

Out of the 3, Priyanka’s fits a lot better. The white one has this strange bulge above the waist.
The shoes in the center are something!
Even I find bust area weird in Purple. I am not liking it at all. Both Blacka nd white are are far better
i like the rich purple color of priyanka’s dress…but I think the white one looks better just because the darker fabric cover the goods isn’t showing so much :)
Infact…purple is the worst of the three!! The differently colored boob patch and the tacky piping make it look so cheapy. I love purple as a color too..but I just can’t turn a blind eye to this excuse of a gown.
@Amrita: Thank youuu! I thought I was the only one who had to triple take for a moment there- the models are definitely lacking a bit of facial hair…lol
I’m not too fond of the purple dress…for starters, Priyanka really should have left this version alone because it is startlingly apparent that she has no hip to fill it out properly. I love the actual color of purple, but i think the detail is too structured to work with the color or silhouette of the dress. I’ll take the black one hands down- the design of it works best out of the three.
I LOVE THE THE COLOR AND THE GOWN ITSELF… I THINK ITS REALLY NICE AND I WOULD DEFINITELY WEAR IT.. I THINK IT ALSO SUITS HER!!!!!

PC should have worn the white – it would have compliment her skin much better [although white]- she has a very interesting face to say the least, I can’t decide her looks!
