In BCBG
July 16th, 2009 at 8:40 am . by PayalAlthough the metallic style bears quite a resemblance to the black Notte by Marchesa seen on Preity a while back, this champagne halter gown on Ms. Zinta is a BCBG.
At first glance at the mannequin, the dress seems hardly impressive but on Preity the dress is so much more feminine. Wish we had clearer pics.

i quite like this dress on preity (although it seems a little overdressed for the occasion).
the fabric reminds me of a reem acra short dress tha halle berry wore a few month ago.
Whoa, what a dress! Love it. This dress again reminds me why I’m such a big BCBG fan. But her face looks a little haggard and not up to the occassion (i.e. her makeup should have been better).
oh gosh i`m the same body type as Preity.. big face and proportionally smaller body.. for this reason I can’t wear anything form fitting… If I do than my big face would be obvious..as in Preity here

Hmm, I’m not liking it. The dress and Preity seem too washed out – some color is needed and here hair color looks weird. Plus the fabric looks shiny and cheap.
Preity is usually elegant but she is off here.
I’m sure she would have paid homage in Chanel had she been in France…but BCBG will suffice for Mumbai?…LOL If I had the money I’d be homaging the french in Chanel all day

However, it’s interesting how Ms. Zinta’s eyebrows go from super thin and artificial-looking to normal and then again to bushy!

Mohtarmayein, BCBG ka matlab Bon chic bon genre ho sakta hai, lekin BCBG bilkul bhi French nahin hai. BCBG California ki company hai, aur usko chalane waale Max Azria Tunisia ke Jew hain. Max sahab ne ab Herve Leger ji ki bhi company kharid li hai, isliye achanak actresses ko muft mein bahot saare Herve Leger ke dress mil rahe hain.

Thalassa- that’s what I thought too- that BCBG is as French as an Aussie rancher.
Plus, i find it pretty ironic that the Consul- general of France is himself pictured in a bandhgala suit, and his (Japanese) wife in a saree, while our actress tries to become faux- French in this tacky shiny prom outfit. Paris Hilton, yes. Paris, France? No!
