most indian designers, including sabyasachi, copy western designers. Don’t use your blog to shame unknowns.

We should pose this question to Gauri Nainika and all the designers from whom they rip off the designs. Wonder what the answer would be?

with so many lines, there may be a difference of a line. just saying on a jovial note.
are there any rules on how much inspiration one can take from other designs :-), I don’t know.

You know I was curious, I checked out her instagram, when I saw Gigi Hadid, Kourtney Kardashian, Nicki Minaj wearing those off shoulder tops I though she has money for production. After reading your post turns out it’s all fake. She can only do those typical kaftans. The other thing, I tried to go to her website but it says forbidden.

PnP we have a love hate relationship because you refrained from publishing my comments in the past, but have to say this is your boldest post ever.

They must be doing this for attention because most of her followers would know the difference since there is a ton of fashion accounts that identify the actual designer.. be it Hollywood or Bollywood. I even see people commenting on her posts that identify the real designer of the outfit. Its hilarious how she doesn’t even delete the comments, so I am pretty sure its just for the attention. Well good luck to her if she continues doing that because she seems to be getting away with it until she does this to a designer who in turn will sue her.
I think PnP should do more posts on other indian designers who copy international designers. Noticed Rs by Rippi Sethi and Roseroom Couture copy looks from Balmain.

Copying is fine…. everybody does that …they call it inspiration. ..I have seen so many designer in sarojininagar, picking up sample for their production master ….but claiming somebody elses design as their own is not cool … . bit too cheap …and western countries it’s an offence they can be sued
