TV Talk: Part Deux

25

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is back with its seventh edition and with it, Madhuri returns as a judge. For the first taping, she wore a black shirt with a green H&M skirt and ankle strap sandals.

The sequin skirt added that touch of ‘fun’, and the look stayed modern without feeling too TV-OTT. We like!

Here’s hoping we see more such looks on her and something tells us we will. Anaita Shroff Adajania is styling her this season.

  2. This is such a below average look. Even madhuri cannot save this. The skirt does not fit well And those earrings are tacky. The only thing good about this look is madhuri herself.

  3. I like the idea of this look, the execution… not so much! A nicely fitted skirt would’ve given a better finish to this look.

  4. I have always found Anaita Adajania’s styling overrated. Even bad at times. This being one of them. Should have skipped on either the skirt or the earrings. In my opinion, the skirt would have looked way better if it were a fitted pencil skirt. Those earrings along with that skirt, looks awful. If this skirt was worn with some other simpler earrings, the skirt would have looked better.

  5. Ill-fitting skirt and earrings could have been avoided. It’s an interesting new look for Madhuri and manages to save her from the ‘behenji’ tag. Can feel what Anaita was going for. The next time just pick a better fitting clothes Anaita.

  6. It makes her looks shorter and fatter. Nothing great or new in terms of style or fashion…. Madhuri is not meant for clothes…. Sigh…. Lolzzzzz

  7. Looks like an ensemble from the Pound or Dollar shop. Tacky. Cheap can be cheerful. But this is no fun!!
And though we are not looking at photos of male judges here- just what is Remo wearing ?? Looks like a worker from aforesaid Dollar shop. Why such ill fitting, clumsy tacky stuff in an apparent A grade show??

  8. OK everyone, seriously, so much hate for the outfit. There are some fit issues with the skirt, but it is a great color/pattern. The earrings glow beautifully. It is a fun and classy outfit.

  9. I don’t understand this desperation in Madhuri Dixit to look and appear like the contemporary actresses of bollywood. Or match upto Sridevi’s style image maybe? But honey, style comes from within. This is what happens when you try too hard or try to be someone else. She CAN NOT carry western outfits. Period.

  10. Am wondering did she finally pay heed and read all the comments one writes about her horrid styling?! Well she’s now got the best in the business so lets see what she makes her look like- so far am not impressed. I really hope she doesn’t make Madhuri look like a Deepika clone. She needs to stick to classic expensive looks that fit well. This black work shirt look just isn’t doing it for me and neither are those tacky earrings.

  11. This is exactly how i can imagine Deepika dressing. I feel like Anaita is going to make every one wear the same clothes without seeing what suits them and what doesn’t and without taking their personality/personal style into account.
It worked for Deepika. It will not work for everybody.

  12. The only word that comes to my mind when I see madhuri is DHINCHAK. She really needs to do understated and chic rather than gawdy and shiny.

  13. Madhuri does not have great pair of legs to show off to add to that the skirt does not fit well. And what is that on her hair ? a puffy hair patch? overall a sorry picture. hope for the better show next time.
