Shoe Spotting

She made an appearance at a ‘Blue’ screening wearing her Fall 2009 sandals again and carrying another Louis Vuitton bag, this time a pochette. We might have liked the sandals if they had been paired with a fierce dress but this one (a Rocky S?) didn’t impress much. You like?

Really? I know the whole ensemble is nothing to write home about, and the dress in particular is quite blase. But it sits well on her, Lara looks fabulous. And I like the shoes.
Generally dresses make people look good here its the vice versa!! Lara’s making the dress look good,! Its pretty plain, the dress i mean! But I love the shoes!! they look so much mroe better on her than they did on Shamita in a similar pic!
Aren’t these the same shoes that Megan Fox wore at Scream awards?

AHH I was thinking about the spring collection and then I saw this :) Shoes are probably the best things that come out of LV.
I agree that the dress doesn’t match, but a “fierce dress” is not necessary to make this work. Any well fitting LBD would have been better. It’s not an edgy shoe. As fierce as it may be, it still gives off that elegant vibe.
And the earrings are bleh.
The dress is meh, the shoes are terrible.
I don’t care if these shoes are by Louis Vuitton, they are hideous. I bet they cost an arn and a leg too!

The truth is those shoes are REALLY REALLY COMFORTABLE! For me anyway. I tried them on… no didnt buy them :( ! But I would if I was invited to enough soirees, or had a stylist loan them to me! These are more than Limo shoes. I could go grocery shopping in them and feel good about walking around.
The dress and shoes are just plain ugly. Lara used to be an elegant dresser but now she is trying to be edgy and failing.
She looks good… shoes go fine with the dress, but the earrings are rather tacky!

Yeah I think she’s shilling for LV now. She inaugurated the new LV ‘global’ store in Dubai Mall when she was in UAE last week for the MEIFF. I remember reading some news piece on her being a brand ambassador for LV.
LV will probably make her their brand ambassador because they invited her to the launch of their new store in Dubai.

I have to disagree with you guys, there is something in the angles of the dress and the shoes which make them really work together.
I like the whole look, and I’m in lust with the shoes :D
aaaaaaaaaaaawful shoes…they look like grandma heels from the 30s or 40s to me. the dress is the better of the two evils here. and as always, Lara looks gorgeous no matter what she has on!!
