For promotions of Bareilly Ki Barfi, Kriti and her co-star Ayushmann crashed a real wedding reception on Sunday evening where she was seen in a red Anita Dongre lehenga.

If some random celebrity, I don’t care who you are. Kriti Sanon or Shah Rukh Khan crashed my wedding function, I’d be beyond furious. It’s my big day. Please don’t make it about your stupid film.

That’s extremely rude and presumptuous to crash someone’s wedding and think they are going to be happy and grateful for it. But interrupting somebody’s big day for some lame promotion stunt is right up Bollywood’s alley.

oh absolutely! For a “Glam factor” at the wedding.. considering indian weddings are always about everyone but the bride and groom (whose sole role is to be dolled up, sit on a stage and smile while a million photos are clicked v/s actually enjoying a very special day) i doubt they would have been pissed!

Why do you say that like it’s a bad thing? I’m a city girl but there are lots of small town girls who are better looking and have more elegant style than some “uptown girls”.

She looks gorgeous! I don’t say this in a negative way, but she does look like a small town girl in this one. The outfit, accessories and the hairdo totally look like how such a girl would look on Diwali/ any other festival . It helps that she has chose an Anita Dongre to wear for this as I have always felt that most of Anita’s fare look like what a contemporary girl would choose to wear , when compared to other designers like Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra etc .
