December 15th, 2009 at 11:26 pm . by PayalThere is no denying that Ms. Basu looks fabulous but having said that wish she had picked one ruffled piece instead of wearing both the ruffled top and the ruffled skirt. And before you jump on us about the pointy pumps, we like them with this look because they balance out the soft ruffles look with their fierceness and also because they aren’t super pointy unlike some others that we’ve seen in the recent past.

Agree completely on two ruffled pieces… But I like the always correct white – blue match and love the way her hair is styled….
Ms. Basu, two ruffles don’t make a right. I actually don’t like the pumps. Not only because of the pointy issue but also because they look old. Additionally, the tacky bangles…NOT cute. Sorry Ms. Basu, this one is a FAIL.

Also love her hair so much better minus extensions.

Her eyes are uneven, have always been. Most people’s are. Her face does look different in someway though

Very chic! I don’t like the ruffled skirt, even if it was paired with a regular shirt.
I hate pointy toe shoes. The only pointed pumps I like are the Pigalles. :D
But then again, leather.
I love Bipasha here, and otherwise. I think she is so beautiful, and poised(yeah, I know people don’t agree with this).
It’s just my opinion, but I hate ruffles on skirts. I like me a good ruffled top anyday, but not on a skirt.

Clothes are generally OK, but i think Bipasha looks like a waxwork statue here….

She looks good but sometimes she wears way too much makeup.
The eyes are freaking me out, but her hair is great for the first time in a long time. Are they extensions? Methinks not.
As for the outfit, I love the color combo, but agree that only one should have been ruffled. And since the ruffles on the skirt look silly and cheap, I’d have gone with the shirt.
Her face looks really different. Her nose looks different… or maybe it’s just me I don’t know. I like the outfit, and her makeup and hair. She looks fresh. The ruffled skirt not so much but everything else is nice. I wish she had taken these basics and elevated it a bit more and made it her own… accessorized a bit better. There’s nothing unique about it.
Pulled back hair in a neat pony tail wouldve softened the look (read already too many ruffles). And someone tell her to go eady on the blush .
She looks great – a classic color combo and a classic silhouette. Simple yet effective!

So many times these celebrities are soo dumb :) they ignore basic fashion rules ( and dont get me wrong..Im all about bending rules ..making your own stmt and all that)..but 2 ruffled pieces?? come on! …its like wearing 2 super busy prints together..top and bottom….shoes are fine..they look generic though..like something from DSW….face looks odd ..pretty as usual..but odd…too greasy or something..
Exactly….so very basic right ??? Actually its a yikes from me as far as the outfit is concerned. Overload of ruffles is driving me crazy. She looks hot though. What is with her eyes…OMG
I think the two ruffled pieces together actually kinda work. It looks like a unified theme, and she really manages to pull it off because she’s uber fierce.
louboutin pigalle’s would have taken it over the top
