Two looks are very different…is that for same event?!

I don’t know what is the deal with the suspenders, if you ignore that for the moment Malaika does look great. I am not a fan of the glittery shorts Amrita is wearing but it is event appropriate.

Both could’ve done better. But if I had to choose, I’d go with Amrita’s outfit sans the jacket.

I have a question: I live in Minnesota which is VERY cold/snowy in the winter. And it gets pretty hot in the summer, so I’m confused when I see someone on these pages sporting a jacket or heavy boots in the summer!

It’s like American celebrities sporting Uggs or such heavy duty winter wear in LA! Even in December-March, LA doesn’t have a weather that requires such clothes. So my question: is this just a fashion thing?

I live in MN too and it’s like you read my mind

I celebrate our 3 (maybe?) glorious months of winter when I don’t have to wear boots and jackets

So silly to see such heavy clothes in muggy mumbai weather (leather pants for example…give me the heebeejeebies)

i WISH it was 3 months of winter!

We wear jackets for modesty’s sake (at least, I do), when wearing a slightly revealing top until I’ve reached where I’m supposed to. Else the leers from all the men on the road can be pretty unnerving. It is what it is.

it shouldn’t have to be so, but sadly it is.

perhaps they could have a thyroid issue? i have hypothyroidism which means i get quite cold even in temperatures most people might find pleasantly cool. so i find i’m the only one in airports and restaurants and movie halls in a pullover or shawl or jacket and boots even in summer.

I live in MN too and I do think most of the time boots are just fashion statement here

None really! Can’t look past the hideous makeup on the two. What was Malaika thinking when she chose to wear those suspenders like that?!

agree completely- on the make up !

Amrita looks cute. I love the shorts! Malaika looks, as usual, like she’s trying too hard to be young and on-trend (assume that’s what the suspenders are for).

These sisters are such a tacky fest. While the shorts do suit Amrita’s body type, her face (make up) just doesn’t suit the young look she is going for. Only Malaika can make a look this tacky by wearing simple pants and a white top.

+1. the first word that came to my mind looking at both of them was tacky!
