hahahahaha all these Indian celebs see Aishwarya at Cannes year by year so when they finally get there they end up imitating her. The only difference, they actually know who Aishwarya is at Cannes. Aside from Freida & Aish I doubt they know anyone else’s name, but nonetheless it’s nice to see Indians there.

Sorry to disappoint, but I doubt most people know Aishwarya at Cannes. She’s simply there to endorse brands – she is photographed for brand exposure in the South Asian markets. They might only remember Frieda as “that girl in that Slumdog movie”.

Just as I was thanking my lucky stars after the portrait shots — did she see a ghost? She’s whiter than a sheet!

she is following Aish makeup routine, compare aish makeup in the green metallic dress and her ….. it resembles like they were attending a hallowen show !

This chick is one of my LEAST favorite bwood ppl but she’s actually not annoying here! Modest, Indian and somewhat classy. hair needs help but i don’t hate it!

The make-up is truly ghastly and ghostly. All is truly lost. What a pity, this could have been a good look.

the lehenga is nice. make up is like a geisha.

+1. The foundation is way too white. But i am just glad she is covered up. She could have done a lot worse and she didnt.

But why is she there ?!

      1. Paroma at | | Reply

        Good question…why is she there?!

U r right. Did she do her makeup herself..she is anyway very fair…why such a fairening makeup..very disappointed!

    No props whatsoever for anything!
Also, why is she waving like she has a huge fan presence there? Lame!

itna bura kyun bechari k sath???..she should sue her makeup artist…

  8. Valaru at | | Reply

Ghastly makeup! She seems way to excited to be on the red carpet, who waves out like this? The lehenga is boring, dull colours and cut both do nothing for her ! Disappointing

Look at the horrible fitting of those sleeves! I can’t get over that gaudy makeup.

The ghastly makeup has left me aghast. Sad! Cause this look had so much potential

This is the first time I couldn’t help laughing my a$$ off when seeing a celebrity on the red carpet. seriously… as ghostly as she looks, for no logical explanation, I also notice lipstick stains on her teeth..or is it the halo effect!! Someone should have stopped her from the foundation overdose, several shades lighter

After looking divine in the photoshoot, this is unfortunate. The make-up is really bad. If that had been lighter, she would have looked very nice. Yes, its an MM look that we have all seen, but not common on the international scene. I love that she is so covered up!

Im sorry, this is GHASTLY and not even a touch of grace
PnP, I really dont understand your judgement if you find this kind of stuff ‘Graceful’

Can any Tom, Dick and Harry get invited to Cannes?!

    1. SS at | | Reply

Some go there to promote their films. I believe Ameesha is one of them.

I can not look anywhere past the atrocious face make up. A-w-f-u-l does not begin to say it.

  16. Southern Star at | | Reply

Yeah!!! she covered up. In Cannes of all places. But what the heck;)

  17. Reshma at | | Reply

I love the anarkali. especially the neckline.

  18. Tingatipto at | | Reply

Hate to break it to you Ameesha, but with that makeup, “All is indeed lost”

  19. Mads at | | Reply

LOL.. props to her for keeping it graceful? You’re kidding right? She looks like a kid in a candy store :P Covering up head to toe does not make one graceful!

+1 … Being happy is one thing, but this? *sigh* your description fits like a glove :D

she spoiled all hopes after her portrait session :(

  20. slc at | | Reply

I am not a MM fan. But despite the white paste on Ameeta’s face she looks good. I am so glad to see so much bollywood representation for the genuine reasons, i.e. films, films, films!

in the third pic , she is looking so much like her mother Asha..

but pray what is Ameesha Patel doing in Cannes ?

  22. Devika at | | Reply

I want to know about these people she is waving out to, so enthusiastically!

  23. monika at | | Reply

The lehenga is nice… wish the makeup was not so bad… this could have been a good look from her

What’s the point of promoting her film at Cannes? Anyways. Looks like getting invited to Cannes isnt as exclusive. Foundation is a horror.

    Dress = nice
    Make up = scary!!!

I don’t think she should get so much shit for trying. I’m just glad to see her in something other than short dresses, skirts, shorts, and revealing outfits! Kudos to her for at least trying. This is much, much, much better than what I’ve usually seen her in.

So I read somewhere that any one can pay up to premiere/showcase their films. So it’s like you book a hall and put up your movie. So, the thing is that since people back home are not aware of this and the film stars/film gets good publicity. So good for them..
