In Anju Modi

26

Wearing an Anju Modi anarkali with long chandelier earrings from Mahesh Notandas, Aishwarya attended the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards on Friday evening.

She looked great! I have to add that it was refreshing to see her try a new designer instead of sticking to her favorites.

  1. Drop dead gorgeous.
I also like the cover up on the cleavage to make it look more classic and in sync with her style. Very very nice!

  2. She looks drop dead gorgeous! That face is irreplaceable! I love the midnight blue color of the outfit and the dupatta on her… very regal. Love the earrings too.

  3. All i see is alot of fabric in a confusing design
A navy blue top thw end of which which i cant figure out, a silver lengha peeking out( so i am assuming the top is short) and then a dupatta cascading down fron her shoulder throwing in more material. It all looks pretty gaudy which is a shame coz it looked more muted on the model.
When will celebs and stylists realise that award shows are not weddings. A simple saree for example would have been so much better

  4. I’m trying to decode this outfit. Is it a silver floor length anarkali top with a navy net layering?

The face is the only saving grace

  5. Goddess !!!
Ash never gets wrong when it comes to Indian attire
And she’s lost so much weight after her dad’s passed away
    Condolences to the family !

  6. That is a nice colour & outfit but I really don’t like the hair here. Even the simplest of twist to the hair would have given so much more to the look.

  8. When did the symbol of Indian wear shift from the sari to these anarkalis? Really unfortunate to see Aishwarya (and other beautiful women) in these graceless tents.
Dear Indian designers, please relegate anarkalis to where they truly belong – mujras.
