November 12th, 2012 at 1:31 pm . by PayalAishwarya was back in Abu – Sandeep picking a white suit featuring extensive gota work. Between the length of the kurta and the shiny horizontal lines, it got too overwhelming. Thankfully, Abhishek chose to go simple to offset the wifey’s blingy suit.
On an aside, a similar suit is available on on Pernia’s Popup but it isn’t as overwhelming as this one is.

Plain hideous…PERIOD!
Ash never had taste in clothes. cant belive this designer ABU AND SANDEEP can make a such hideous outfit. But Ash is so blind to wear it. Such waste.
This looks like jail outfit. she just escape the ROYAL jail.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Ash has no taste whatsoever. She just wears whatever she’s given even when it’s so hideous because she has no taste of her own.

OMG…awful. It’s really quite irritating to see her make such disastrous choices. She’s either stubborn or just plain stupid repeating the same mistakes. Jaya Bachan looks a thousand times better than her, and she’s at least 20 yrs senior. Ridiculous!

I think she has inherited Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla, and their terrible clothes by becoming a Bacchan bahu. They have been dressing up the Bacchans for how many years now, she can’t escape them but atleast I would hope she doesn’t give into such horrible mess of clothes!
There’s a pattern that she’s following. Beautiful dress, bad dress, beautiful dress, bad dress. There’s no denying she is gorgeous, but the pattern on this dress is absolutely horrible. Aishwarya ditch Abu Sandeep! Sabyashi sari would be great, haven’t seen her wear a saree in a long time.
Overwhelming is too kind a word to waste on this monstrosity…who lied to her to when she was making a choice.Unsightly!

That is a bit harsh. Before she became pregnant she used to dress very well and was a style icon. Infact I think she was one of the best dressed in Bollywood whether she wore western or Indian. She was so elegant. Now I think she is dressing like this because of the Bachchans association with Abu Sandeep which I don’t understand! Just because he is Abhishek’s fave designer doesn’t mean you have to wear it all the time!
But just because she looks like a gift wrapper right now, doesn’t mean she never dresses good. Don’t forget the Longines event recently where most ppl thought she looked good.

To be fair, I’ve seen some lovely, tasteful and elegant abu jani – khosla outfits on my last trip to Mumbai. I can’t recall if it was in their own boutique or someone else’s. I bought some short kurtas which have been much admired and coveted by my friends. So I don’t know why they give such strange choices to celebs.
My mom had made one like this for me with old gift wrapping paper for a fancy dress competition in school :) This is plain HIDEOUS.

i can’t even say that her gorgeous face saves the day here cos its drowned in layers of patchy makeup that she doesnt need..combined with the same ol same ol hair she looks too boring dull and predictable..

Its not a bad dress actually, my taste is not so blingy but I can appreciate the composition of it, its really not that bad. Trouble is it doesnt suit aishwarya at this point in her life where she is not her fittest!

I think the problem (well one of the problems) is that it’s not nipped in at the waist so there is no shape. She needs to start tailoring her outfits/trying them on.
