Over the years, Marie Claire (India) has given us some memorable covers, which is why it saddens us to hear that Outlook, the magazine’s publisher has decided not to renew its license.

We really, really hope that the decision is reversed. You’ll be missed Marie Claire! We hope the good people we’ve met (virtually) from the magazine are all sorted and stay strong.

Hearing the news made us revisit some of the old covers, some of the memorable ones being those featured below. Did you have a favorite one?

In Two Avatars

This week Swara gave us two different looks on two days.

While at the Raanjhanaa Success bash on Wednesday, it was a simple desi look in a white chikankari suit. She looked lovely but the stark white innerwear did bother us.

Thursday saw her attend not one but two premieres to which she wore a Ripci Bhatia dress paired with a grey Lecoanet-Hemant shirt dress and a Zara belt. Wasn’t a fan of the color of the belt but she looked good nevertheless.

We’ve all noted before that sometimes at an accessories launch event, the clothes overshadow.

What we weren’t expecting though was a drab maxi. Not that those sandals stood out either.

At a foundation launch event, Isha and Pooja were spotted wearing the same color but to different results. Even though the color is not one we’re drawn to, Pooja fared so much better.

Neck up Isha looked great, but that harem-esque jumpsuit was awful.

In Los Angeles to promote her latest single ‘Exotic’, Ms. Chopra made a stop at Millions of Milkshakes to which she wore a Cavalli jacket with J Brand jeans. Silver Louboutins and a Valliyan by Nitya necklace finished out her look.

The outfit itself was well put together but the hair just makes it meh. Don’t you wish she had done something else?
