WLIFW Spring 2013: Gauri And Nainika
We’ve seen the designer duo experiment with draped ruffle trim since their Spring 2012 collection. But this time around, gone were colored gowns and in its place was a more dramatic take on the ruffle trip and an all-white collection with black accents. The thigh-high slit gown with sheer panel was an interesting surprise (Row Three).
We are bound to see this collection on the Red Carpet and lots of it too. Question is, who will be the first to be spotted in one?

Glamorous. Very Hollywood.
This looks like a collection Christian Siriano would have made for his project runway finale.
I kinda like it, its very interesting and I would love to see it on the red carpet. I can see Sameera Reddy and Poorna J pull some of these looks off.
Something in this collection reminds me of prabal gurung
Probs it is just me ,but the collection seems overdesigned. It is pretty but the panels and the ruffles seemed forced on the dresses.I donot see any inspiration here!
Also I have seen some of the dresses before on a Project runway finale(Yes Christian Siriano and others as well).
Trying too hard & leaving us with nothing, IMHO
Is it just me or does this collection remind you of Roland Mouret?
It reminds me of Stephane Roland S12….infact it seems to be very much ‘inspired’ by the same!
As i cant paste links, go to google images and search for Stephane Roland Spring 2012……few pieces are uncannily similar to be original here!
Extremely hideous!
What is here to hate seriously? The collection is haute couture-worthy, well crafted, no sloppy finish, wellmade. & there are others dresses/gowns you guys have not pictured that were even more spectacular!. No complains here.
I can see Deepika/Bipasha in the dress you mentioned + the next one.
Sonam would rock No 3 in all rows,
Kangana would kill the 5th second row
Sameera is written allover the 2d first row, & Katrina over the 2d second row.
PC can surprise us all in the 1st second row
& Natasha Poonawala could pull off the first one…
