Amit GT’s evening-wear collection was filled with satins and crepes, all in vivid, vibrant colors like fuschia, indigo, creams, metallics, often accented with jeweled embellishments, mostly with crystal accents.

  1. The first thing that hit me when I scrolled through was Valentino. I am sure I have seen similar versions of the beige ruffle dress and the mustard yellow dress in Valentino’s previous collections. Some of the elements in the other dresses also seem to be borrowed ideas.

  2. yum! yum! yum! what shows through these pictures are how perfect the choice of materials and colors are for the designs. love everything about the first four romantic dresses! so feminine…explores the softer side of woman. and then there are the rest..very modern, very confident, very today!

  3. Most western designs in India (save Rajesh Pratap, Raghu Rathore and Manish Arora ) are copied from the west. Its not completely original. They are nice garments, but most unoriginal.

  4. I find his collection fab and different from what most of the indian designers have to offer. I think these dresses are well edited and flatters the body. I think the collection is high on trends but I wont call it borrowed or something. Trends are supposed to create de javu and that’swhy we see saree/toga dresses happening at almost almost all major runways this season. What’s striking about this collection is pattern making of masterly skills which makes the dresses stand out without even embellishment like in the case of blue toga dress. I am all praise for this designer..
