Maximized

Just days after being spotted in a Swati Vijaivargie maxi, Vidya was spotted in another maxi which was a slight variation, a pick that puzzles us.

If you are going to pick the same designer to wear, why not go for a different look. Swati also presented some printed kurtas (see below) any of which would’ve looked great on Vidya.

  1. Uff! Wrong again! Try not to wear stripes from head to toe Vidya….unless it’s on a saree. Those printed kurta from the runaway would have been perfect on her. She needs to get rid of her stylist.

  2. Thank God, she didnt pick the kurtas, I am sure she’d have worn them as a dress minus the chudidaar or salwar like she did some days back. The maxi sports looks straight out of a maternity catalogue. gah…

  3. Nooo Vidya. The first maxi is interesting in design…the second is just kind of lacklustre. Vidya’s stylists just love slapping these formulaic maxis on her as if she’s an insolvable maths problem. Minimize volume, maximize the tailoring. I think she should go back to Sabya because he (at the very least) produces clothes which are correctly fitted.

  4. It is indeed puzzling. But in her defense, the earlier maxi was probably her best look during her promo tour. So why fix something that’s not broken and all that…!

  5. Please, if Victoria Beckham’s or Stella McCartney’s agents in India are reading this, please could you donate her stylists some of those amazing curve-hugging sheath dresses that I’ve seen Nigella Lawson and Kate Winslet rock?!
