Wearing Zoraya separates, Vidya attended more promotions for her upcoming movie ‘Kahaani 2’ in Mumbai on Monday. Pairing the look with a layered silver necklace and ring from Amrapali, her look was finished out with tan platform pumps. It’s a good thing I can’t see a lot of the footwear because that might have made me change my mind about how much I like her look here. 😛
I do think though, she should’ve worn her hair in a braid. Just to balance out all that material.

She has definitely reinvented her fashion game…Loving the easy breezy look. Want to see more such looks Vidya. And yes, a messy braid would’ve taken the look a couple notches up. Nevertheless, good going!
this works brilliantly for her. the straight, long lines of the jacket cut down her bulk and also the volume of the sarees she usually prefers to drape easily, like Kanjeevarams worn with open pallus. really like.
She has the worst show collection which adds to her shabby looks. Its good that you dont get to see those ugly shoes. Lol.
She is looking so young and slim here….why does she wear heavy saris always….
The hair makes her look younger. Even though there’s a lot of fabric it still a lighter looks than her heavy silk sarees. She looks fresh.

The whole look could have done with less volume but nice to see her in something besides sarees.
I like this look on her. Easier silhouettes and contemporary prints and designs. I wonder how it would look without the long layered top. Just the crisp white kurta, fitted well, with those bottoms and the silver necklace would look smashing too.
This would have looked smashing without the jacket. I do like the jewelry here tho.

You know I don’t want any minor gripes come in the way of my joy of seeing Vidya in a look other than sari. She looks lovely. The hair and this outfit are making her look younger like someone mentioned.

She looks gorgeous. But the hair in a fishtail and braid and this would be a complete winner..
