Vidya was busy promoting Mission Mangal on Monday and then her Tamil movie Nerkonda Paarvai on Tuesday and for both events, opted for saris. Prefer her in the burgundy Manish Malhotra or the blue Anamika Khanna?
We liked her in both!

Honestly, none of the sarees appeal to the eyes! It’s only Vidya who is the saving grace here. Love her in the Manish Malhotra a bit more coz her hair make her look so youthful.

I can’t believe im typing this but MM > AK. That purple/blue sari IMO looks terrible. Dislike the pallu design and the blouse pairing.

Very mediocre and dated sarees. Vidya is like an ambassador for sarees… She can choose from such a rich heritage of weaves and textures that India has to offer. But, several missed opportunities including this one!
Shorter sleeves after long time is good change and I feel tiny bindi with open hair could have looked nice, having said that, those Sarees seems like picked from sale for the sake of having sale.
Those sarees look like the ones shopkeeper starts showing you from the bottom of the price range and quality so that you get disgusted and keep upping your budget.
Everything about them look cheap and yet Vidya comes out looking elegant. So kudos to her and the her personality

Terrible choice of sarees…both are Karol Bagh variety. She looks nice with open hair and short sleeve blouse though.

Agree on so many comments, Vidya, please explore the rich heritage of weaves India has to offer. This is your opportunity to showcase them to the world. MM and AK have enough of a following and their stuff looks cheap and garrish.
