Ditching her Sabyasachi saris for a French Connection Spot top paired with brown pants was Vidya at the first look event of The Dirty Picture. We may not be too excited about this look but hey, we’ll take this over an “In Character” look which in this case would’ve been quite extreme.
P.S. If you haven’t heard by now, Vidya’s character in The Dirty Picture is loosely inspired by Silk Smitha.

The top and the shoes are cute, and it’s a good look overall, except for those pants.
This is a good enough look-dont love the pants but it kind of works. And it is a good break from her usual style.

We all seem to have very low expectations from Ms Balan’s western looks hence this is passable. For anyone else we’d say how awful it is.
