Vidya was seen at the NMACC opening night also in Anamika Khanna paired with a maang tikka and a few rings. She looked good but I did feel a bit underwhelmed. Personally, this was a great event for Vidya to show off her signature sari style. But, that’s just me.

Anamika Khanna’s designs were so impactful and fresh when she first came on to the scene.
Lately, she’s underwhelmed. Stuck on the same cape/skirt/jacket style and with each iteration, her clothes look more like craft projects. What happened to her?
This is so weird ! And those red hangings are the final nail in the coffin.

It’s great that she veers away from her usual style but this looks incomplete without some earrings , also some smoky eyes and dramatic lips would elevate the whole outfit
Based on all the outfits we have seen so far at this event , looks like the dress code was fancy dress .
It seems dress code was cape dress, it can’t be a co incidence….
This looks like a badly designed costume.

This is a good look except the red tassles.
Ok, I got it. Vidya dressed for a function, hence the maangtikka, but it started raining, so she borrowed a dress and then draped a designer poncho over it to protect it and attached some red-charm-tikdis attached to ward off the evil eye of critical comments.
