Wearing Abraham and Thakore, Vidya helped promote her latest movie at an event in Mumbai. With her hair pulled back, she rounded out the look with jewelry from Moha by Geetanjali. She looked nice. But, the look would’ve been a whole lot more impactful had she chosen a softer do and skipped that chunky ring and opted for just oversized earrings instead.

Yes coz they save their opinions for some and not for others. It is obvious but it is their blog so as long as they publish critical comments it is fair. If they ‘china’ it, it isn’t.
Three-fourth sleeves here would have balanced out the proportions well and made a world of difference. I realise the irony here, after all the criticism she gets for just that with her Sari blouses

This girl never gets a break from you, HHC. She looks absolutely fine the way she is. Had she done everything you suggested, you would have told her to alter it in this manner… there is no winning. big girls have challenges (I am one) so i can see how she is trying to create a silhouette that works for her… i think she is venturing out of her comfort zone (sarees) and is doing fairly well given her body type. I think she looks smart and well put together. Chill, HHC.
The jacket with shorter sleeves would be more impactful. But she looks relaxed and confident and that is half the battle won.
I really want to understand how HHC critiques looks. What is your rationale for a softer do? What impact would that create and how would that be different from the clean, fuss free impact this current look is creating? Also, you want both a softer do AND oversized earrings? Please help us understand how those together would elevate the look compared to what we have right now?
Look, what I’m trying to say is we all have different ways we’d style something. Being nitpicky is great only if you can back up and give us an assurance that YOUR style would generate better outcome.s
I agree with HHC. That ring is an eyesore! And the low pony tail is a bit boring.
Nothing wrong in trying to elevate a look further while stating that she is doing so well lately!
