  1. I think the purple one is not bad minus the wierd thing in the front pleats.
The red would have been better if the blouse had normal sleeves.
But i am glad she spared of cleavages and half boob shows.

  2. In character appearances…so what? It’s not really supposed to “make you go watch it”…it’s just simple advertising that sticks.

advertising’s purpose is not for you to go out and buy…it’s to stick in your head…so dressing in character makes you stand out from the HLs and what not

  3. Kinda like actors taking risks…Vidya is boldly pulling off the tawdry character look. Sometimes a could-have-been-whatthehey-but-is-not look is far better than a safe copy of an already modeled look.(see previous parvathi comment)

  4. Well..Vidya’s beyond looks..clothes n fashion…she is an actress par-excellence which the other highly acclaimed fashionistas fall flat on their face at…

  5. Each time I look at Vidya Balan in one of her saris, I tell myself to not be judgmental. But it’s such a bad choice, in character or not, can’t like it. The sari is not just see-through, but also draped such that it does not cover her top properly. I mean Silk Smitha was exploited, what’s Vidya’s excuse?
Now, I am missing her beautiful Sabyasachi anarkalies and saris.

  6. 😯 she should have refused to do this. she looks like a train wreck in regular clothes. this is ok on screen and stuff where the makeup guy fixes you ever five minutes, but nooooo nooooo not like this.

  7. The fact that she can still carry herself with dignity while wearing the tacky costumes and the cheap push-up says a lot about who she is…anyone else would have looked cheap in the combination of the two, but vidya looks “in character” insetad.
