Seeing Double?

Vida walked as a showstopper for a designer at the Fosters Fashion event but what was more interesting was how uncannily similar the design was to the Diane Von Furstenberg Maui dress.

Is it me or do you see it too?

P.S. Don’t know who the designer is, but will update as soon as we find out.

  1. also, a good place to ask this question.

how long should a maxi be? ankle-length? or should it cover the heels, like jeans do? I am confused as I have seen the length go all over the place.

  2. well its definitely ‘inspired’ or whatever they call it to deny plagiarism. but i dont understand why the designer would waste her time making this dress when Shantanu And Nikhil made a similar dress which was worn by almost every celebrity alive! especially for a show!!??

  3. most of the indian designers get their inspiration from FAMOUS DESIGNERS SUCH AS CHANEL AND dvf and such.. 95% OF THE SHOWS IN INDIA R REMAKE OF SHOWS IN USA.

Archana presented an Indian collection at the event. The designer is the one featured in the picture above, except, I don’t know who she is!

  5. Even the dress that the designer is wearing reminds of something that Jennifer Aniston wore although this one is not flattering at all.

  6. coooooopy cat!! i am just goign to repeat what i had said abotu another designer who had blatantly copied an international designer- beware fo the day that the international designers wise up and slap you copy cats with design infringement lawsuits….you need to realize it is a viable course of action!!
