Wearing a Payal Khandwala pantsuit, Vaani attended the Elle Graduates show on Tuesday evening. While I loved the suit on the model, can’t say am feeling the same way about it on Ms. Kapoor. The pants didn’t seem to fall right with the footwear she was wearing.

This suit is eerily similar to one from Maheen Taseer’s collection from early last year! The style, the fabric, heck even the colour.
Hmm, I think lighting is 99% of the problem. She probably looked quite striking in person. Other 1% that red lipstick
brocade pants!! really!!
A different coloured shirt, perhaps a contrasting pastel, would’ve helped lighten up all the shadows going on in that look. The shoes are totally horrendous – a pair of sandals would’ve worked so much better! And I wish she had scrunched up the sleeves of the blazer like the model too. It would’ve cut out all the seriousness of that suit.
And a lighter colour on the lips too please!
The shirt is just too sloppy and wrinkled to work with the brocade. Agree that the shoes are awful too. The fit on the pants needs work as well.
This whole look is just sloppy.
