Also wearing Sunira Designs like most of the guests at this event was Urmila, who sported a velvet kurta set paired with a velvet dupatta. Given the dupatta, I don’t get why she also added that sheer silk scarf around the neck. That just was one element too many. Wish she had skipped it.

No matter how hard it tries, velvet is always going to remind me of theater drapes.
She looks nice but the outfit is too busy.
i am ok with too many elements … it works somehow …. but she needed tight sabysachi hairdo with big chunky antique amrapali silver earrings
So pretty.. the scarf may be unnecessary but it doesn’t take away from the outfit and the shine that Urmila brings to it.
