At The Races

Comment image 57

Twinkle Khanna looked her chic self at a recent race in a printed sheath and her trademark statement necklace.

It was amusing how she chose to cover her dress’ rather risqué print by pairing it with a cardigan but it was appropriate for the races and she sure looked darned good.

P.S. Twinkle is wearing a D&G David Dress with a v-neck sweater and a necklace, a closeup of which you can see inside. Thanks ‘vira’ for the ID.

  2. Oh that necklace and those shoes, Mommy is coming to get you right now. 😉
While Mommy is at it, that bag and the dress too. 🙂
Guess I love the look after all. Ofcourse, minus the cardi. Isn’t the event in Mumbai? So why the cardigan? Mumbai is never cold. Please don’t tell me Twinkle was shy of the print.

  3. the half seen print makes me wonder how she would have looked minus the cardigan and the necklace.. had that print not been blocked into half it would have worked fine!

  7. There’s nothing I want in this world more than her shoes. Sigh.
But coming to the point, I love the look on her. I love that Twinkle is never in-your-face sexy; she’s subtle and stylish. Refreshing change from the usual B’wood bevy.

  8. She looks fab! I love how Twinkle definitely has her own sense of style, rather than simply being a fashionista. I also love how she looks like a 30 year old woman, and all the more gorgeous for it.
I ALSO love her nude pumps, I need to find a good pair of nude pumps!

  9. very chic
but i’m oh-so-curious to see the dress as it is
the cardi is probably appropriate for the races though since it’s a tad more conservative
hope to see her wear the dress without any additions too though!
the woman has so much style i cant get over her

  11. twinkle looking as chic as ever .. for some reason i don’t think its a dress i think its a skirt .. i find her wearing it rather well too .. the whole outlook head-to-toe this lady is very elegant .. the cardigan doesn’t look out of place either.. those kind of 3/4 cardigans aren’t too heavy and aren’t worn in cold places only..
always nice to see mrs akshay kumar .. and looking forward to see her grace soon 🙂

thanks for the amazing effort p & p .. all the best girls x x

  12. Now that I actually noticed that the print wasn’t merely just a bunch of colours and was a design… it looks very funny to see a naked bum peeping out from the cardigan. Should have just left out the black cardi and worn a stole instead. I like the shades and the hair, and her bag… and her shoes are iight.

  14. Sorry, I meant.. “Look closley and you can see that in the first 2 pics its sat on her cardie, and in the 3rd pic, the left side is hidden slightly under her cardie”

  15. Too bad they blocked Akshay Kumar. Both their looks were in sync. Tina is such a classy lady, she knows what works well with her, once in a blue moon she may make a blunder but, she is bold to go ‘out of the box’ while others just stick to the same old same old.

  17. I would have preferred if she had worn the dress without the necklace and the cardigan. The necklace is not attached to the cardigan or the dress, designers like Balenciaga and Givenchy have been selling these large necklaces for the past year, the first I saw wear them was kate moss in Bazar. Having said that I am glad that she did not show the whole dress with the neck piece. The full dress with the necklace would have been OTT. I do like her chanel bag, but it empty and hence one cannot really appreciate the design.

  19. love the dress, the pumps, the shades all of them… though she looks fab, i think it is a crime to cover such a awesome dress with a cardigan… Please, please some one ID the pumps and the shades. Thanks.

  20. i looked up the d&g david dress on the net and now i think it looks more risque the way twinkle has worn it. one can just see a someone’s naked butt, however, it doesn’t look vulgar when one can see the whole image.

  21. Managed to convert a bold designer dress into a “school run” look! The necklace, cardigan etc. just mutilates the dress…don’t buy it if you don’t have the courage to flaunt it!
