Twinkle went traditional in her ivory and gold sari while at a recent wedding. Wearing her hair up, she rounded out the look with a bindi, traditional jewelry and a gold-toned clutch. She looked lovely!

However, these pics are v forgiving, that gorgeous saree desperately needed to be ironed. Twinkle’s Social media pics showed glaring wrinkles 🙁
@Anon, age is a fact of life. So what if her wrinkles are showing. At least she is not morphing them or using photo filters to hide it like some other actresses do. This is a problem with women, always bashing each other for the wrong reasons. When someone is too perfect we have a problem when someone is trying to be their wonted self, we have a problem. Twinkle is a woman who was brave enough to publicly admit that she made a horrid actress and kudos to her that she has been able to find a profession and passion in writing. Lets celebrate that. Let’s applaud her for looking beautiful. She is a stunner in her own right.

Pajamas dont need ironing but sarees do. In punjabi my grandmother would say (i translate in hindi): “Saree Ghadey (matka) mein se nikal kar pehni hai?”
She might have just sat on the pallu and got it wrinkled. I mean they can’t just fly from home to the venue. She looks amazing and the blouse pairing is very normal. One blouse different saris 😉
My teacher mom would say “pencil box mein se saree nikal kar pehni hai”
Embrace the wrinkles. Let us let things remain a little natural. This constant straightening, ironing, smoothening flattening is neither good for our mental peace nor for the environment. The earth will thank us and perhaps, and this is a BIG perhaps, if we let things remain a little natural, we may do our teeny weeny bit in mitigating climate change ??

I think the blouse is horrendous. Something similar to the pink in her saree would have elevated this and looked more put together.

She looks classy and so very beautiful. Now that’s the way to do it when you have loads of cash to buy more clothes or stylists who can bring you freebies but you borrow a sari from your sis-in-law. Sustainability, yay!!
True! Should be appreciated! They have access to wear any designer clothes in this world ! But choosing not to wear a new one and look like another walking model is great!!
I will take this look over the Manish Malhotra vibes. Twinkle is dressed event-appropriate and while I do not care for the saree itself, she looks absolutely lovely!
