Wearing striped separates, Shilpa made her way in to the local airport recently. Her accessories included nude peep-toe pumps and a monogrammed Dior tote. Not a fan of the cami she picked (very Nineties) but it was a minor gripe; she made the separates work for her!

I like the separates but that’s about it!! The cami, the peep-toe pumps or the garish tote- nothing is working here!! A plain cami or tee along with pumps or maybe even flats for a change with a bag which didn’t conflict with the outfit would have worked much better here.
That bag is hideous. The peep toe pumps would look great with something else.
No ruffles, no slits, no cuts, no unnecessary accessories…are you sure this is Shilpa Shetty? That is one ugly bag. This just goes to show that people will buy any crap, if you slap a brand name on it! I like the separates though.

I don’t personally care to comment on this look, as much as I take issue with the reasoning the blogger has given for disliking an element in it. Sure, I would have let it slide taking into account personal preference, but explain to me why vintage and re-wearing something earns these celebs brownie points, but a bit of nostalgia from the nineties (like they were that abhorrent) costs them the same?
This is a rare look where she is looking ok. Her usual clothes are so over the top. Here the only thing over the top and vulgar are her initials on the bag. The nail polish could have been a better shade, but then we cannot expect everything from Mrs Kundra in one go. Disagree with the blogger about her cami. It is ok. Everything is ok. Well done Mrs Kundra for looking normal and not filmi.
