In Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

Tamannaah attended the Baahubali 2 pre-release function in Hyderabad on Sunday evening wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation. I loved this lehenga not only for the vibrant skirt but also because the white peplum jacket helped balance out the skirt quite a bit. And in keeping the hair and make-up simple, she let the separates do all the talking.

Did you love her look?

P.S. Her earrings are from Suhani Pittie.

  1. The peplum (almost suit jacket type) top and lehenga combination isn’t working for me…especially the material and fit of the top that is making her look stodgy, when she is anything but. A miss for an otherwise well turned out lady and I think it’s the design label to blame…doubt this would look flattering on anyone.

  2. The jacket may be balancing the skirt in terms of color but definitely not the shape!! Poufy skirt n shirt with long sleeves look terribly paired together. It also looks weird under her skirt, the tulle is exposed or something. I don’t mind the skirt print though, it’s kind of fun and quirky. A fitted sleeveless silk choli/top in pink would’ve been better a way to balance this look.

      • True. It should be Tanjavur Thalai-aati bommai. Least this is just a figurine. I have heard many say Tamil, Telugu..abhey yaar.. all same. All “Madrasi” language. LOL!

        • Agree with you. And it is SO annoying when people say Telugu and Tamil are the same. Telugu by no means is Madrasi language. And south Indians are NOT Tamilians alone. These are Stereotypes promoted by films.

      • No i meant the kathakali bobble dancing dolls. Nothing to do with all south indians being madrasis (don’t even know where that came from!)

        • Oggy, it’s not about you, was just adding to the above comment about the prevelant stereotype. I get what you are saying about the dolls.

  3. A rare miss for Tamannah. This was a good idea on paper, but doesn’t match up in real. Whats going on under the skirt near her feet- that looks very distracting. And the shirt and skirt combo looks very mismatched.

  4. Strange outfit! In the second pic the skirt resembles cupcake icing, with her torso and face providing one of those typical doll toppers.

  5. She looks gorgeous, her usual porcelain doll self in that last pic. The skirt is okay but could have used an another top. Tammanah just looks beautiful in about anything though.
