Wearing a checkered Anavila sari, Tahira attended the Toilet – Ek Prem Katha screening on Thursday evening. While some of you may have an issue with the visible underskirt, I didn’t quite mind it. Saris can be worn many ways, and the chotu sari with the visible skirt is one of them.
My issue here was with the sneakers. Instead of my eyes getting drawn to the sari, they went straight to the footwear. And the bag. That was one white element too many.
Ms. Kashyap would’ve fared better if she’d worn black jootis here. Agree?

Agreed. There are these “certain” set up people who insult a sari by doing shabby/messy out of it. Yes sari is anyway pretty ugly in this case. Ha.
the saree is quite an eye sore, looks like a bed sheet (jamakkalam) hurriedly wrapped around. and then the shoes. and then the petticoat.
if the lady wanted to make a statement, she sure did. just that its written the wrong way.
A – that’s not a saree, that’s a tablecloth
B – a petticoat peeking out looks like you dont know how to wear a saree
C – those earrings *facepalm*
