We said it before and we’ll say it again! As separates, the pieces might work but together, it’s just way too overwhelming.
Between the two, we don’t know who fares better. Vidya, for breaking up the color scheme or Sona for sticking to it. Either ways, neither works for us.

Giving the plain handloom saris a rest was Vidya who decided to change it up at a recent event by choosing to wear a printed one.
She looked lovely neck-up and, without breaking the stride, she can perhaps next work on her blouses? Baby steps.

Having seen Ms. Balan don the same look over (and over) again, makes us want to shake her so hard, she snaps out of the printed blouse/bordered sari rut that she seems to be in. We love our handlooms (and this is not to say hers is bad), but there so many other styles out there that Ms. Balan could do justice too.
This round we’ll give to Raveena, who from what we can see, looks great in printed blouse and red sari.
