Skipping sari in lieu of an anarkali might have made for a change but, the best pick it was not.
The colors worked on her but that was about it. The hair was a downer and the neckline just doesn’t work. Not a fan.

The lovely ladies both picked silk saris to wear while at the Awards and, while they both looked nice, it was easy for us to pick a favorite. Mini had this one in the bag, easy.

In a pale/dusty pink, half-and-half Sabyasachi sari, the newly wedded Vidya Balan put in an appearance at the event. As radiant as she looked, I can’t help but think the red (of her lips) was much too harsh against the soft sari. Would’ve liked to see different hair too.
