At the launch of a jewellery store, Vaani was seen wearing a floral lace trim slip dress paired with a blush pink blazer, both from H&M. We normally see folks do desi at such events but I like that she didn’t go that route. She looked good here.

Wearing a printed Hemant and Nandita dress, Vaani helped launch a mobile phone in Mumbai. Adding a belt to cinch in the waist, she rounded out the look with a pair of Jimmy Choos. Given the strong print and the boxy silhouette of the dress, the styling could’ve been more minimal but this was less predictable; Ms. Kapoor made it work.

At the GR8 Women Awards on Wednesday, Vaani was seen in a signature Anamika Khanna dress and long jacket, one that she wore with gold t-strap Jimmy Choo heels. While she looked nice, part of me was left wanting for some more color.

It’s been a while since we saw Ms. Kapoor on these pages and boy, are we glad to have a sighting of her. The actor wore a tuxedo style strapless Alexis Mabille gown with jewellery from Roopa Vohra Fine Jewellery to the Femina Beauty Awards on Wednesday evening.
I did like the subtle sexiness of her look but wish the jewellery had more punch. Funny, considering with everyone else, I am always requesting that it be toned down.
