It was a mix-and-match for Twinkle at Prithvi Soni’s exhibition event where she paired her Dolce & Gabbana animal print shirt with a black dress and her Hermès Jige clutch. Having seen the dress paired with the crisp full-sleeve white shirt, you can’t blame me for not liking this new look with the animal-print shirt. For me, it doesn’t quite work. But, I love that she mixes and matches unlike some who we see wear an outfit again and again, the exact same way.

To the launch of her new range ‘Villa Tara’, a range of home decor and resort wear, Twinkle wore an ombré Hervé Léger dress with gold accessories. Seems like the earrings came off after a while, but even without, the dress adds so much punch that not much is needed, accessories wise.

Except, the Black-pumps-addict (moi) wishes she had worn those instead of the gold slingbacks.

Twinkle and Akshay attended a wedding last night with Twinkle wearing a white chikan (Abu-Sandeep?) suit and Akshay wearing a beige kurta. This is why I love Twinkle. Instead of wearing a flashy sari by a certain someone, she goes a simple route and jazzes it up by wearing emerald drop earrings. Akshay too keeps it simple by wearing a beige kurta to subtly match Twinkle instead of going a heavy sherwani route.

We love Grazia covers because they really do mix up color well. Case in point, the Feb cover that features Twinkle in a red Blugirl applique dress against a green background. Loved how the red stands out so much more and do we have to even mention how lovely Twinkle looks. The Bardot-esque hair, in this case, works so well with the dress.

As for the dress, if you heart it, BCBG has a heart-version applique one just for you. 🙂

Almost always one to make us go “Love”, we haven’t been feeling the same off late. We get the whole contrast look that she was attempting by pairing the sequin statement tote with the all-black outfit but visually it wasn’t enough.

As for the outfit on the right, while I thought the ‘Victorian-style’ blouse was too long, Priyanka thinks it’s the hair that is to blame.

P.S. That’s a Lauren Merkin clutch on her on the right.
