Tanvi Shah, who wrote the Spanish bit and sang in ‘Jai Ho’, attended the Grammy Awards 2010 wearing a champagne gold Tarun Tahiliani number. Kudos to Ms. Shah for going with an Indian designer and I have to say I much prefer this lace number to the other variation seen on Shilpa at her reception (see here).

P.S. Hearty congratulations to Tanvi for winning a Grammy. ‘Jai Ho’ won for best motion picture song.

Spotted a Tarun Tahiliani bandhini dress on this lady at the Kingfisher calendar launch party and much prefer the flowy dress version (minus the straps) than the maxi one. You?

Spotted Soniya Mehra in what seemed a very Tarun Tahiliani’esque velvet dress which she paired with Gucci ankle boots, Prada clutch and a headband. It is to Ms. Mehra’s credit that she’s managed to make part vintage tapestry, part Moroccan restaurant decor prop work on her, because on anyone else this dress would’ve been a disaster waiting to happen for sure.

Those shoes on the other hand, I love. Love.

P.S: Did anyone else think Soniya was channeling some Mischa Barton? 😉
