In Isabel Marant

Sussanne was one of fifty folks to be felicitated by Architectural Digest India at a recent soiree hosted by the magazine. The interior designer picked up her awards wearing a one-shoulder Isabel Marant dress with t-strap sandals.

The eighties style dress may not be everyone’s cup of tea but she looked nice. I, for one, sure appreciated that she dialed it down where make-up and jewellery was concerned.

Of Dresses

Sussanne was one of the hosts of the Chivas Alchemy party and was seen wearing a ruffle wrap dress with platform mirrors sandals. Ms. Khan prefers to keep it simple and this look was probably the most dressed up I have seen her in a long long while.

I thought she looked nice but could’ve skipped those earrings or picked a smaller pair to wear.

In Missoni

While at an event in Delhi, Sussanne was photographed in a Missoni knit dress. Pairing the dresses with chunky jewelry, she finished out the look with black peep-toes and a Dior ‘Diorama’ bag.

The semi-lined dress didn’t do very well under the camera flashes. And all the pieces of jewelry felt rather disconnected from each other too. Bit of a lost opportunity this!

Sari Style

For Ganesh Visarjan, Sonali and Sussanne both sported saris with the former wearing a blue one that had colorful striped borders and the latter in a green and red silk ikat.

Loved seeing them in this avatar. Sussanne, especially so!

In Twos

Sussanne attended two events recently and let’s just say neither look passed the bar. They could’ve though, with a few tweaks. Skipping on the necklace would’ve made the cream look much better and less chunky sandals with the black look would’ve made it feel less overwhelming.
