Surveen attended the Punjabi Icon Awards wearing a Payal Singhal lehenga fresh off the LFW runway. While her lehenga was styled well, my issue was with the lehenga itself. The loose fit of the choli didn’t work and the skirt felt overwhelming on Ms. Chawla.

She would’ve fared better if she’d pick one of Payal’s patiala designs.

Surveen attended and performed at the Punjabi Film Awards that were held last month in Chandigarh. For her appearance, she picked an Indian By Manish Arora pink lehenga wearing it with green drop earrings and a stack of bangles.

She looked lovely.

Wearing a Neeta Lulla lehenga, Surveen attended the Kumar-Ralhan reception held not too long ago. A bindi, oxblood lip and diamond jewelry finished out her look. She looked nice but wish she had picked a softer lip color; the lehenga didn’t really need that stark pop of color. And without the mesh neckline, it would’ve been even better!

The Mirchi Music awards also took place on Thursday evening where Surveen was spotted wearing a printed am:pm dress. Wearing her hair in a side-parted updo, she finished out the look with statement earrings, an embellished clutch and simple black pumps.

Am not a fan of matching eye-shadow to the dress, but in this case it worked in her favor. She looked good.
