Sophie visited a local Ganesh Utsav pandal on Friday wearing an orange SVA lehenga and earrings from Amrapali. While I like the printed skirt, the choli with that big dot design looked really awkward. And it was even more in your face because Ms. Choudry wore her dupatta on the arms. Just me feeling that way?

That isn’t to say Sophie didn’t look nice. She did.

At the press event for a TV show, Prachi was seen in a Masaba creation, one that we also saw on Sophie while she took in the designer’s show at Lakme Fashion Week a few months ago.

Preferred Ms. Desai just by a margin because of the simpler sandal. That doesn’t mean that I liked this dress. Hate the stark black top and the zipper detail.

Sophie attended Manish Malhotra’s Ganesh Puja celebrations wearing a red pleated anarkali and gold bandhini dupatta by the designer. If you are finding it hard to believe that this was an MM creation, you wouldn’t be alone. I was quite taken aback as well and for good reason. Quite loved the simplicity.

Ms. Choudry also made the anarkali look good by wearing it with a bindi, Eina Ahluwalia jhumkis and a bun complete with mogra.

In Papa Don’t Preach

Sophie launched her latest single “Sajan Main Nachungi” in Mumbai tonight and at the event was seen in an off-shoulder Papa Don’t Preach creation.

The theme of the night seemed love as evident by the gold heart design of the dress and the Lanvin ring. She looked nice but I wish the bust didn’t have that panel design. It didn’t look good in pictures.

P.S. You know who else loves that Lanvin? Priyanka!
