Sonam attended a summit on Friday wearing a pantsuit from Viktor & Rolf featuring a cropped jacket and bow-detailed white shirt. While it was interesting, after the monochromatic “lawyer“ outfit (as y’all pointed out), this one felt like it came right off a cruise ship staff member’s wardrobe. It’s like she is just missing a tray and a martini glass on it.

At the launch of a shoe brand at the footwear store started by her and Anand, Sonam was seen in a Bloni structured blazer and dress paired with white sneakers. I like the outfit and as much as I have hair-length, the hair worn down like that was a bit of a snooze.

Lehenga Love?

Sonam kicked off Diwali festivities wearing a a light rust red khadi lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla but the standout part of her outfit was the clay and paper mâché bustier made by The Vernacular Modern.

Am I surprised that in a time where folks are flocking to metallic bustiers or wearing a Theyyam wall decor as a top, Sonam who already sported a Suneet Varma metal bustier went for something different. Not one bit. The Kapoor sisters love to up the ante and did so here as well.

Like the look? I wish the bust wasn’t that high on the neck. The emeralds against the rust color though was striking.

Sonam wore a Punit Balana lehenga to Karwa Chauth celebrations at her parent’s place paired with jewellery from Amrapali. The 4-piece (dupatta, jacket, choli, skirt) outfit was a bit too much fabric for my taste.
