We don’t know if it was a coincidence or if Ms. Kapoor took inspiration from Ms. Parker, but because we don’t have full length pics of Sonam, can’t say for sure if Sonam did Sarah one better in the footwear department. (She sure did in the bag area.)

Sarah wore a Stella McCartney lace dress while Sonam wore an Ayesha Depala dress with an Helmut Lang jacket and a Ferragamo clutch.

Dressed in an Ayesha Depala lace dress and a white vintage Helmut Lang jacket (per Sonam’s tweet) with a Ferragamo clutch (from our Oct 2008 Lust List), Sonam made an appearance at a Spice event where she was appointed as the new brand ambassador of the company.

Not all of her attempted looks may work, but no one can accuse Sonam of being in a rut. This one sure keeps it interesting by changing things up and gets props for that.

Speaking of which, she recently made an appearance in an Anuradha Vakil outfit (via Twitter) looking rather good. And that’s another pair of earrings I have fallen in lust with today. 🙂

Although we’ve seen this gown in three different variations, it was Sonam’s pink version that Anushka dons in her upcoming move ‘Badmash Company’. Don’t know about the storyline, but we are sure going to be catching this one to see what else Ms. Sharma gets to wear. 😛
