In Sabyasachi

Juhi wore a pink Sabyasachi anarkali to Sonam and Anand’s wedding reception sporting it with a messy braid, silver pumps and a silver clutch. I would’ve preferred a pink clutch for a less sparkly look but she looked pretty nevertheless.

In Gaurang

Kangana attended Sonam and Anand’s wedding reception wearing a silk kanjeevaram Gaurang sari gifted to her by her sister Rangoli. I do love that she picked a personal piece for the occasion but was iffy on the hair. Between the color of the hair and the border of the sari, the look felt oddly match-ey and too one-toned, something that could’ve been avoided if she’d worn her hair in an updo.

Reception Style

After going traditional for most of her other events, Sonam did more of a modern look at her reception wearing a chevron pattern lehenga paired with a grey choli and metallic dupatta, from Anamika Khanna. The lehenga may not be everyone’s cup of tea but she wore it well. I know many of you will pick on Anand’s choice of footwear but we think it works. The man, after all, has a sneaker business!

In Anamika Khanna

After her wedding (Anand Karaj), Sonam slipped into a pink Anamika Khanna lehenga for the lunch and cake cutting ceremony while the groom stuck to his tan sherwani.

Our congratulations to the newly weds!

Rani also chose to wear Sabyasachi to the Sonam and Anand wedding ceremony wearing a velvet embroidered one featuring a green sheer dupatta. Besides the fact that the velvet just seemed so heavy for the day wedding, that sweetheart neckline and the dupatta worn the way she did just looked awkward. I wish she had styled the dupatta better. Yep, go ahead! You can call me a prude.
