The sheer overlay revealing that blouse like crop top is a real odd design and any other color would probably look bad but Ms. Bendre lends an elegance to this outfit that one can’t deny. She looked good!

Sonali attended the wedding on Friday evening wearing a green kurta and churidaar suit from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Ms. Bendre prefers the designer duo’s muted stuff more than their colorful offerings. I loved the kurta and the sequin Chanel bag pairing but the diamond necklace here, not so much. A minor gripe, yes!

Sonali wore a Ridha Mehra lehenga to the Merchant-Ambani sangeet pairing it with a polki choker neckpiece from Razwada Jewls. While the neckpiece had green stone accents, the look as a whole felt a bit too one-toned.
