Many stuck to black but red was also a popular color on day two of HDIL Couture week with Shweta Bachchan, Tanya Dubash and Sonali Bendre sporting it in various dress versions.

Considering many disappointed on day two, quite liked these ladies for sporting a color other than black and a shade that flattered. Of course, we wish Sonali would just ditch those bib necklaces. Enough already! The lady is obsessed with them! Of the three, Shweta was a favorite in the red Michael Kors. She looked fab!

P.S. Tanya is Adi and Parmeshwar Godrej’s daughter and a businesswoman.

Black Was The Night

There were many who stuck to black while at a recent do… Did any stand out particularly, for reasons good or bad? Tell us!

The ones who caught our eye for not the best of reasons: Sameera, who had unfortunate hair. Laila, who had an unfortunate moment with camera flash. And Malaika Khan who was in an unfortunate outfit. Again.

These lovely ladies went the denim route while at a recent movie screening and it’s got to be asked, who was your favorite of the lot?

I can tell you that Sunita was our least favorite… Buttoned-up denim vest? No, thank-you.

Jump Ship On The Jump-Suit

Two ladies. Two wide-legged jumpsuits. And here comes the predictable part… Who’s your pick?

Going by last few appearances, you know this qualifies as an ‘Upgrade‘ for Simone. But is faring better by virtue of “relatively” enough to redeem oneself? 🙂 As for Sonali, the weird fit of her jersey jumpsuit (in the crotch area) is enough to throw off the look.

And so for a pick, it’d be a ‘Neither’ for us.

While the print worked on Shazahn, can’t quite say the same for Sonali.

The jumpsuit coupled with the accessories was a complete disaster on Ms. Bendre. So wrong. Shazahn’s look was far more palatable; she worked it! She (Shazahn) looked good.
