Sonali attended the star-studded Diwali party on Friday wearing a gold handwoven kurta and brown pants, both by Anavila. Giving the casual separates a bit of a festive touch, she added a beaded temple-style necklace and matching gold kada.
Not your traditional festive outfit but she wears it well. I, for one, do like it.

Sonali celebrated Ganesh Chathurthi last week at her home which also had Twinkle in attendance. While the former was spotted in a red Anavila sari, the latter opted for her favorite designers when it comes to Indian wear, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

Sonali attended Manish Malhotra’s show wearing a red sherwani from the menswear collection with a black Rag & Bone top and faded denims, also from Rag & Bone. Pairing the separates with a black Ferragamo sling bag, she finished out her look with Alexander Wang wedges and a red lip.
While I like the theory of this formal-meets-casual look, in reality though, the faded denims became one visual element too many. Non-faded ones and my eye-balls wouldn’t feel as if they were all over the place.

Sonali took in the Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla opening show wearing a light brown sari by the duo featuring an embroidered mesh blouse. Even with the dark lips and the interesting Leiber minaudiere, the look felt a bit dull and I place blame on the sari color.
Considering the designer’s are known for their vibrant color picks, I wish she’d picked a different colored sari to wear.

Wearing Archana Rao Label separates with a Valentino bow belt and Sophia Webster sandals, Sonali attended a recent event. A ponytail and discreet jewelry finished out the look.
Given the pearl encrusted shirt, Ms. Bendre would’ve been better served with a solid colored skirt over the one she had on. As is, between the shirt, appliquéd skirt, the stark black belt and dramatic sandals, there just wasn’t any cohesion; none of it really came together well.
