For the Zee Cine Awards, Sonali picked a white Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, one that she wore with chunky earrings, silver sandals and a Leiber leopard minaudiere.
Can’t say am a fan of the suit, but she looked nice in it.

Sonali picked a black and white Manish Malhotra gown to wear to the Filmfare Awards and while we didn’t care much for the gown, it wasn’t the main culprit in bringing down her look. It was the hairdo. The side-swept do just didn’t suit her one bit.

It was a Pankaj and Nidhi jacket with wide-leg trousers for Sonali while at recently held Screen Awards. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with black sandals and a metallic fringe bag. Nice as she looked, a softer, wispier updo and pair of cropped cigarette pants to play off of the volume of her top would’ve perhaps been the better route to go.

At the Ambani bash last weekend, Sonali was also seen in a Manish Malhotra. But of all the women we saw in MM that night, hers had to be one of our least favorites. Neither were we fans of the colors used to make the kalidars nor the top to bottom kalidar design itself. Reminded us of window treatments.

For her appearance at a recent launch, Sonali paired her distressed denims with a shirt and cape-jacket, both from E.Z.R.A. Wearing her hair down, she finished out the look with coral lip color, bit of jewelry and neutral peep-toe wedges. Ms. Bendre made the look work for her! That said, as much of a visual interest the cape adds, I’d have loved to see the look without it. And with a ponytail. And… Colorful sandals! Would’ve been less fussy, more contemporary, no?
