We had seen this Sabya sari on Shriya before (on the runway) and we couldn’t gush enough over it then. And while we are glad she got to keep the sari, wish she hadn’t worn it so. Sigh. Such a lovely sari only to be let-down by the drape.

Vidya was in a Sabya sari too, no surprises there. She opted for a relatively unembellished, simple black number that she paired with some dramatic jewelry.

The ladies featured in the South Scope 2011 Calendar attended the launch event. While Shriya gave us a head-to-toe look we’ve seen before (see Here), Shruti paired a black gown with a bib necklace and glitzy sandals.

Care for either or neither? The title sums up our feeling. 😛

The sari I like, it’s the blouse that I find rather gaudy. A simpler blouse and better pallu folds and this look could’ve been better but as is, it is a Not Quite. For you?

P.S. We suggest you take a few minutes more to take it all in because who knows how long before Ms. Saran spoils it for us in a bad outfit. We hope she doesn’t!
